The Connection Between the Gut and Autoimmune Disorders as presented by Dr Tracey Beaulne ND & Dr Kim Bretz ND at our Live Event in 2016.
Gut microbiota will be reviewed, as well as in depth immune system dysfunction and the relationship to autoimmune disorders. Specific autoimmune disorders will be discussed such as Type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disorders. This presentation will also discuss how microbiota changes can influence disease and how sex-specific microbiota changes are related to female predominance. Theory around treatment of autoimmune diseases will be reviewed.
