Dr Caroline Meyer ND graduated from CCNM in 2005. Prior to that she received her Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science degree with specialization in Psychology from McMaster University. She also studied Bachelor of Laws at the University of Toronto. Her work experience includes several years employed as a counsellor in social service agencies in Toronto, working with a diverse range of marginalized individuals. She focused on complex mental health and substance abuse problems.
Through meeting her own health challenges using naturopathy, she developed a passion for helping adults and children achieve their unique health potential – physically, emotionally, and energetically. While Dr Meyer ND maintains a general naturopathic family practice, her areas of clinical focus include pediatrics, fertility, mental health and using Paleo/Primal/ancestral health. She is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND), the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians (Ped-ANP). Dr Meyer ND is also a clinical and academic faculty member at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where she supervises one of North America’s few pediatrics-focused clinic shifts. As a nationally-featured writer and speaker, Dr Meyer ND shares her passion for all things related to natural healing. As a long-time practitioner of meditation, she knows how mindful practices can transform not only the mind but all aspects of health.
