Before resigning from practice in 2023, Angela Lee was a Lyme Literate licensed Naturopathic Doctor who focuses exclusively on Lyme disease and tick borne co-infections. Angela completed her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and had completed further training in parenteral and intravenous therapy. Angela managed and co-managed all stages of Lyme disease and associated infections.
Angela was an International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) member and had completed the ILADS Physician Training Program under the supervision of Dr R. Horowitz MD (New York) an acclaimed Lyme disease and co-infection expert. Angela had also preceptored with Dr M. McShane MD (New York), a distinguished expert on the treatment of Lyme disease and co-infections. Angela completed yearly Lyme foundation courses with ILADS that allowed her to keep current with the latest research and guidelines for Lyme (and co-infection) patient care.
Angela was an active member in the Canadian Lyme community. She was a board member and medical advisor for Lyme Ontario. Angela regularly speaks across Ontario to increase awareness and educate on Lyme disease.
