About: Dr Lisa Bloomer ND
Dr Lisa Bloomer graduated as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in 2001 from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in Toronto. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Trent University.
Lisa has been practicing for over 20 years, working with patients to create balance in their lives using various Naturopathic principles. Her goal is to support the body’s natural healing abilities, which enables her patients to achieve and maintain optimal wellness.
Lisa has experience working as a naturopathic medical advisor for Seroyal, a professional nutraceutical company. In this role, she assisted in educating other Naturopathic Doctors. Lisa remains committed to updating her knowledge by taking a variety of courses in her field. She has received certification in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture/Cosmetic Acupuncture, which provides her patients with a natural option for reducing the signs of aging.
Lisa is a licensed and registered Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND). These professional affiliations attest to her commitment to the highest standards of naturopathic medical care and her adherence to the ethical principles and best practices of the profession.
Lisa is a founding partner of BRB CE Group – a group dedicated to providing quality continuing education courses for Naturopathic Doctors and other Health Care Practitioners.
Lisa resides in Aurora along with her husband, two teenage children, and their chocolate and charcoal Labrador Retrievers. When she is not working, Lisa can usually be found in a rink watching one of her kid’s playing hockey, walking her dogs, paddleboarding at her cottage in the summer, or at home vacuuming dog hair, which she affectionately calls “fibers of love”.
